HOW IT WORKS

CRITERIA for nomination
  1. Nominees must be nominated by someone else; self-nominations are not allowed.
  2. An individual can win this award a maximum of three times.
  3. Recipients cannot win the award in consecutive years.
  4. Nominees must be under 40 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
  5. Nominees must reside in Kootenai County.
NOMINATE

Fill out the Nomination Form on the ' Nomination Page'​

  2. Work Position Title & Employer

  3. Explanation of why you are nominating candidate

  4. Contact information for candidate (email and phone preferred)

THE PROCESS

  1. Once a nomination is received, each candidate will receive an email with a nomination form to be filled out and returned.

  2. An independent judging panel will review both the nomination form filled out by the nominee and the original nomination email.

    1. If the judging panel is unable to narrow down the nominees to 30 winners, based on the information provided, the judging panel does have the ability to require in-person interviews.

  3. Winners are announced on Kootenai County Young Professional's Facebook page.​

  4. Winners are celebrated and receive their award at Elevate - KCYP's premier black-tie gala in January!
